FIRST CG OF THE YEARRRRRRR!!!!!!!(I don't count the ref sheet of my oc's cause it was just a sketch LOL)
Hiya there guys!!! Another new year resolution for me was start doing more backgrounds uvu and so I did hehe I had the sektch and rough colors done for like one week-almost two ago but I couldn't find time to finish it ;;w;;

but I HAD SO MUCH FUN painting the backgroundddd I didn't know painting water was so cool OwO I've drawn water a few times but I didn't find it as fun as now xddd also I tried to use more contrast between light and shadows uvu probably cause yesterday I just received my vocaloid artbook by Rella and she's like the queen of contrast *^* even if the art book was 90% miku I enjoyed it so muchhhh I keep looking at the pics over and over again >/////< ahhh so happy I bought it at the end >w<

enough rant,now for the technical stuff:
Sketch and rough colors: 1 hour
Lineart:10 mins (lol I went quite fast xddd)
Colors and refining the background:2 hours
editing:1 hour (YES I think this is the pic I struggled the most when editing LOL and I'm pretty sure I'll make some more edits in the future LOL so sorry for updating it in advance haha)

so......to sum up :4 hours more or less haha *cries* 
Anyways hope you like my first attempt at a "background-heavy" pic uvu (IDK it's is a "heavy" background but at least it's not some patterns like in most of my other stuff LOOOL)

Aaaaalsoooo if you didn't get it yet he's like...charging himself (ya'know the fact that he's technically a robot and such...and that's the reasong of why his eyes are glowing and stuff....why is he in the middle of water??Don't ask me...I thought it looked cool =w= )
On other news I would love to make this a print uvu but IDK if I did it in the right resolution OTL
